Yosemite National Park,is known for its tall and majestic granite cliffs,inumerble waterfalls, gushing streams,tranquil lakes reflecting images, deep valleys, great meadows, giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more.

We had the opportunity to visit in mid May when the ice from mountain caps melts and the waters are plentiful and in full flow .But what an opportunity.Nature simply unfolded all its charms before us.

A memorable weekend to yosemite was planned by Archu and Uday on 15 May 2010.

The starting point was Archu's residence in sunnyvale.

Dazzling rainbow colors in the sky were spotted by Samantha on the way.

Distant view of waterfall, and a river flowing serenely greeted us as we approached Yosemiti.

A tranquil lake. Few lucky individuals

on their boats.Reminded of the song "yamuna theeramuna......"

Then a mountain stream on the wayside

First glimpse of El camino.The height of the boulder exceeds 1500 ft from the ground level.
