yosemiti

Watching the nature's marvels all along the way we move towards Yosemite valley. The sight of full dome fills your heart with peace, wonder and amazement. You become one with nature and perhaps the almighty himself. It is a strange feeling.

There is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us alright.

Yosemite National Park,is known for its tall and majestic granite cliffs, innumerable waterfalls, gushing streams, tranquil lakes reflecting images of flora, fauna and even human beings who care to approach, deep valleys, great meadows, giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more.

We had the opportunity to visit in mid May when the ice from mountain caps melts and the waters are plentiful and in full flow .But what an opportunity.Nature simply unfolded all its charms before us.

I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and water and for everything which is natural, which is infinite

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.

And how should a beautiful, ignorant stream of water know it heads for an early release
    to murmur its lullaby.

Clear and white, at the centre of the ravine, gushes a stream to give us unbounded happiness.

As we move we looked at the trees, looked at the birds, looked at the clouds, looked at the stars...and were able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers - for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are.

Can we ever dream to exist like nature- always happy ?

    HALF DOME

Rising nearly 5,000 feet above Yosemite Valley and 8,800 feet above sea level, Half Dome is a Yosemite icon and a great challenge to many hikers. Half dome is the granite cliff seen in the center of the ravine and little left of Uday's photo of the photo at the farthest point.

Yosemite waterfall in the center of picture. A distant view. Yosemite is the sixth highest waterfall in the world with a total fall of 739 meters or 2425 ft.
